“The Guardian of Secrets: And Her Deathly Pact” by Jana Petken is not typically my kind of read, but I am so glad I made an exception for this book! I was hooked from the start by the authors beautiful writing style. The elegance of the words flowed one into another, and I simply could not stop reading.
The characters are all very well developed, as is the plot. There was enough intrigue to keep the pace moving, even during some of the longer, more descriptive sections… you know, the ones I normally skip over, but didn’t here. The book is long, and you will make a serious commitment when you read it, but that is a commitment I would make time and again to read more of this author’s work.
